I can highly recommend the Mexikaner. The reservation went perfectly. The selection of food (also for vegans) and cocktails was great. The beer (Grimbergen) was excellent. The food tasted wonderful and the service was personable and quick.

This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I think it's great how the owners manage to create even more atmosphere with small and large changes. The outside area is just cozy and lovingly prepared. A little Mexican feeling in the middle of downtown Datteln. I love the tapas here. They are always freshly prepared and served well presented. All in all, people here worry about the guest. The staff is always very friendly and warm and is available to advise. I just love the familiar and unobtrusive atmosphere. An unbeatable price-performance ratio comes on top. YOU ARE GREAT, KEEP UP!

A very pleasant atmosphere, nice staff and good drinks. While eating you have to look something. Not everything is really good. But devinitively you can eat well there. The events are always fun and fun. Price performance is okay. Especially in the beer garden it is very cool to sit and enjoy the time. Sometimes the waiting time to be served is too long, especially when there are regular guests. Then the normal guests are a bit left out. We were nevertheless satisfied and will definitely visit JC again.

Very nice waiter, delicious food. There was no reference to the way through the main entrance at the beginning of our visit - the subsequent address, presumably by the owner, was clear and a little unfriendly.

Been there for the first time today. Nice and attentive service and beautiful indoor and outdoor areas. With our coffee there was a homemade biscuit that was very tasty. The place also makes a clean impression. Gladly again and next time the food will also be tried.

We love everything in and at the restaurant, the food is super fresh and especially the garlic olives are awesome, the cocktails, especially the caipi, are really the best ... We have been loyal guests for years. The nicest service ever, always take time for you. With a great happy boss and a nice boss. We love you and remain loyal to you, despite the corona crisis.

Everything perfect. Food was good and as expected. The service fast. Large selection of drinks. However, we had not tried any cocktails, so far, I can say little. I like it and we will be back!
